Flying over South Africa

Author(s): Karel Tomei - Photographer

Photography

For Karel Tomei, South Africa is like his second home. This wild and beautiful landscape is where he lives and works for two to three months a year. To create this book Tomei travelled the length and breadth of South Africa, from Cape Town to the borders of Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Botswana taking his distinctive aerial shots from a two-person helicopter. Flying over South Africa captures the diverse landscapes of this country's nine provinces; from brown rivers and glistening blue seas to prehistoric red sand formations and green savannahs. Offsetting urban and industrial landscapes against farmlands and wilderness areas teeming with animals, this book will open your eyes to the wonder of South Africa today.
