Like explosions? Like trousers? Like to see some exploding trousers? Read this book and you...might! The world's a dangerous place, innit? Have you ever found yourself in danger and thought, 'what I really need is a pair of super-protective trousers to keep me safe from crocodiles, flying toffee-apples and log-flume malfunctions?' Yes? Steve Voake lives in Somerset. He has written three Daisy Dawson books for Walker and is the author of four novels, The Dreamwalker's Child, The Web of Fire, The Starlight Conspiracy and Blood Hunters. Steve grew up in the countryside and used to be a naughty, slightly scruffy boy just like Hooey. He still dreams about making stuff explode and riding his bike off a pier into the sea, but fears he is too old to get away with it.
